We got together with good friends Marieke & Frank with their girls to do some ice skating during the Christmas holiday. Though Frank and Jacques are very experienced skaters, Marieke and I were a bit shaky (though standing and able to move forward).

A long weekend in Paris included a very nice surprise. Thanks to Facebook I saw that our friend Laura happened to be in Paris the same weekend visiting an old colleague Stephanie.
