Welcome to my homepage on Dunselman.com.
I'm a project manager for Capgemini in the Netherlands. The projects I'm responsible for both have an on-shore (Netherlands) and off-shore (India) component, so my team is truly international. It's very stimulating to work accross cultures.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with Ange, Jamie and Nieke. I also enjoy flying, taking a Cessna 172 up for a spin around Lelystad or Seppe.

One of the perks of working for Capgemini is that they're not afraid to party. Events are always meticulously organized, so when we got an invitation for the TS Summer party (TS stands for Technology Services, our company division) the family was ready to go. Destination: Safari-park Beekse Bergen.

I can still recall that I was jumping up-and-down only a few years ago in Meteren when it was announced that we would be able to get ADSL Internet. For the longest time we had to cope with a costly and slow dial-up connection as the rest of the Netherlands was enjoying fast Internet. That's what you get for living in a rural area. But the cards have turned. For living in a newly constructed neighborhood has its advantages: our new house had a glass-fiber connection from day one.

Last year I skipped the Escape (Capgemini's employee organization) trip to the snowy slopes of Zell-am-See (as Ange and the kids went on a skiing holiday ourselves), but this year my friend Stoffer (a University friend) joined me for 3 days of rest & relaxation in the Grand Hotel of Zell-am-See. We were expecting a water-ski trip, as temperatures were already above 10C (approaching 60F), but fortunately the ski-area of Kaprun was also included in our ski-pass.

Yesterday evening at my company, Capgemini, a congress for all project managers in the Netherlands was held. During this congress, all project managers were challenged to come up with ideas for "Winning" (in the broadest sense of the word). Together with 4 collegues, we thought that enhancing our network by contacting previous customers was a good way to go. This will tighten bonds and eventually provide opportunities for new business: a win situation for all involved. The 'Dragons' (consisiting of 2 senior Capgemini project managers and 2 senior project managers from ING) chose our group to have the best idea. Next to the fame & glory, we also get the means and support to implement our idea.

Welcome to our new and improved web-site! During the Christmas holiday we were looking for a web-site management system that was easy to use, easy to navigate and most important: easy to update.
