Welcome to our new and improved web-site! During the Christmas holiday we were looking for a web-site management system that was easy to use, easy to navigate and most important: easy to update.

Our previous website had not been updated since 2006, over 3 years ago. The foremost reason? Because it was a pain to update. So we needed a system that would allow us (and then I also mean Ange & the kids ) to be able to contribute to the site easily, without having to be html-wizards. I am already a big fan of open-source software (the genre really matured in the past years), and after some research I discovered Joomla!

Joomla! is a content management system that can be easily configured in lay-out, menu's, and has a lot of cool extensions that can be added (check out our picture gallery... you will have to login first). Also standard registration facilities prevent that only content we decide is also available to the general public. As it is very easy to update the site (this article just cost me 10 minutes to write and upload), we're confident that we can provide a more actual and fun site to visit. Enjoy!
